Thank you to all of our amazing fans for making our first Black Out game a success! Sun Devil Stadium was rocking and you truly were a factor in the win. We need to maintain that energy and enthusiasm as we go through the season.
Football heads to Champaign, Ill., this weekend for a Pac-12/Big Ten contest against Illinois. Kickoff is at 4:00 p.m. AZ Time, and will be shown on the Big Ten Network.
Numerous awards were given to our players after their performance on Friday. Brock Osweiler was named a Davey O’Brien Honorable Mention Quarterback of the Week. The versatility of Jamal Miles (he already has a rushing touchdown, kickoff return for a touchdown and a touchdown pass this season) netted him Paul Hornung Weekly Honors. Finally, Aaron Pflugrad was named Rivals.com Pac-12 Player of the Week after his extraordinary show on Friday.
