Your 2011 defending National Champion Sun Devil Softball team is set to host a Super Regional in their quest to return to the College World Series to defend their crown.
They open play against Louisiana this Thursday night and need your support to travel the road to Oklahoma City.

Coach Clint Myers, who has led Arizona State to national championships in 2008 and 2011, is 44-10 in NCAA postseason action including a 23-2 mark at Farrington Stadium. His Sun Devils squads are 10-2 in Super Regional action, including a 10-0 mark at home.

Sun Devil Softball isn’t the only team advancing to the postseason. The fourth-ranked Sun Women’s Golf team will head to Franklin, Tenn. for the program’s 21st-consecutive NCAA Championship appearance, May 22nd-25th at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The Sun Devils’ 21-straight appearances are an NCAA record. ASU also holds the NCAA record for total appearances with 30. The Sun Devils are led by senior Giulia Molinaro, who is currently ranked fourth in the nation by the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Molinaro, one of the favorites to win an NCAA title, holds a 72.28 scoring average for the third-best total in the NCAA. The senior earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors in April after finishing in a tie for second at the 2012 Pac-12 Championships in Pullman, Wash. Live scoring for all four rounds of the tournament is available atwww.golfstat.com. For the third and fourth rounds of the tournament, the NCAA will provide a live webcast from holes nine and 18.
The Sun Devil Track and Field team will be officially represented with 46 entries at the West Preliminaries of the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas, next weekend. The entries are split right down the middle between the No. 10 women and No. 11 men, which each squad being represented with 23 entries in the first round of the NCAA Championships. The NCAA West Preliminaries will take place at the UT Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium in Austin, Texas beginning Thursday, March 24th and continuing through Saturday, March 26th.

It’s time to renew your Men’s Basketball seasontickets! Sun Devil Athletics has frozen season ticket prices for current men’s basketball season ticket holders. Season ticket prices will not increase for the 2012-¬13 season for those that renew by the deadline. Current Sun Devil season ticket holders have until Friday, June 22nd, to renew season tickets to receive their loyalty discount and to retain their current seat location. Payment plans are available for all season ticket holders. The Sun Devils return eight players from last year who practiced last season, including four starters, two transfers who are proven Division I players and arguably the best in-¬state signee by Arizona State in Jahii Carson since it joined the Pac-¬10 in 1978-¬79. The Sun Devils will have six local prep players on the 2012-¬13 roster.
