ESPN to Televise a Host of ASU Games This Week

Our final home football game for the 2011 season will be this Friday, November 24. Kick off is at 8:15 pm AZ time and the game will be broadcast on ESPN. Cal comes into Tempe with a 6-5, 3-5 Pac-12 record. Tickets are available here.

I want to give a huge thank you to our 27 seniors who will be taking Frank Kush Field for the final time in their Sun Devil careers. The 2011 senior class includes, linebacker Oliver Aaron, wide receiver George Bell, offensive lineman Chris DeArmas, safety Eddie Elder, safety Clint Floyd, defensive end Jamaar Jarrett, tight end Trevor Kohl, offensive lineman Nick Emanuele, linebacker Shelly Lyons, wide receiver Angelo Magee, wide receiver Gerell Robinson, wide receiver Mike Willie, cornerback Omar Bolden, offensive lineman Garth Gerhart, snapper Cameron Kastl, offensive lineman Dan Knapp, offensive lineman Mike Marcisz, offensive lineman Trent Marsh, defensive lineman Bo Moos, linebacker Colin Parker, wide receiver Aaron Pflugrad, offensive lineman Aderious Simmons, offensive lineman Adam Tello, wide receiver T.J. Simpson and three seniors that ended their playing careers early due to injury Jonathan Clark, Zach Schlink and Steven Threet. Please come out and support these great Sun Devils at home one last time.

Men’s basketball will also be on an ESPN station this week. Their Old Spice Classic opener against Fairfield on Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) will be televised by ESPN2. The game starts at 6:30 pm AZ Time. In addition to ASU and Farfield, Old Spice Classic includes Dayton, DePaul, Indiana State, Minnesota, Texas Tech and Wake Forest. To drive digital fan support and engagement, Old Spice Classic is asking Sun Devil fans to use the hashtag #Go_SUNDEVILS when talking about the team on Twitter. Volleyball will host Arizona for Senior Night this Saturday. The match begins at 7 pm in Wells Fargo Arena. The winner of Saturday’s match receives half of a point towards the State Farm Territorial Cup Series.
