The Sun Devil Soccer team continued their winning ways this weekend in Tucson, posting a pair of impressive victories over Loyola Marymount and FIU in the Arizona Cats Classic.<\/p>\n

Holland Crook, Devin Marshall, and Taylor McCarter all scored against LMU in the first day of action,\u00a0cruising to a\u00a03<\/strong>-0 win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Building on day one’s dismantling of LMU, the Sun Devils returned to the field\u00a0against Florida International<\/a>\u00a0and came out on top\u00a03<\/strong>-0 again. Helping lead the charge was Miah Mollay, Devin Marshall, and Holland Crook who each scored goals on the afternoon.\u00a0With the pair of impressive wins, goal keeper Chandler Morris also posted her 4th shutout of the season.<\/p>\n

The Sun Devils have now won\u00a0three<\/strong>\u00a0straight, and open up Pac-12 play Sunday, September 23rd at (#3) Stanford. ASU’s next home games come against USC on Friday, September 28th at 2PM, and Monday, October 1st against UCLA at 7PM.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Sun Devil Volleyball opened home play in Wells Fargo Arena this weekend in the ASU Sheraton Invitational. The Devils collected a 4-0 sweep of the weekend matches and\u00a0claimed the tournament championship.\u00a0<\/a>
\nThe Sun Devils placed three athletes to the All-Tournament Team including junior Alexis Pinson, junior Stephanie Preach, and the tournament MVP, freshman Macey Gardner who saw 67 kills and 39 digs over the weekend. This is Macey\u2019s fourth consecutive All-Tournament team honor as a Sun Devil and on Monday,\u00a0Macey was announced as PAC 12 volleyball freshman of the week<\/a>: becoming only the second ASU volleyball athlete to every be awarded the honor.
\nThe Sun Devils move to 11-2 on the season and look to continue their success as they travel to\u00a0open Pac-12 play\u00a0<\/a>on Tuesday at the University of Arizona.
